But I'm wearing Vianni's

I'm wearing a beige t-shirt that is Forever 21 (Value), black pencil skirt ($10 H&M), yellow Vianni gladiator's (Joneve), Seiko watch and gold Alfred Sung chandelier earrings. And now that I've straightened my hair it's raining. Bastards.
Maybe I'll be umbrella chic today? Or wear boots instead? Eughh that ruins the cuteness of yellow kicks :(

I wish there was a dating website to find shoes. Like you can put in your price range and what you want, if you're looking for long term commitment and comfort, or eye candy, maybe a fling.
I would date these.

Is this ever real?

Conformity is the Opiate of the Masses

I hate the fact that everybody expects you to do what "normal people" would do in a certain situation. If you do it, then you are judged for conforming, and if you don't do it then you're judged for rebelling and they all wonder what's wrong with you. It's so exhausting constantly having to defend what you're doing and what you're not doing, so I'm saying fuck it.
I'm done with trying to explain myself, and be sensitive to the status quo and understand other people's side of things. I just really don't care to anymore.
New goal: Do things for you and only you. Love everyone but fuck their opinions. <3

Outfit: American Apparel skirt, black racerback tank top (Winners), black flats (American Eagle), gold necklace (Smart Set), leather bag (Stone Mountain, from Winners).

Got the new ink! My mother almost talked me out of it, but then when I was discussing it with the girl who was going to tattoo me she helped me realize that even though getting it on my wrist is way more of commitment because it's more obvious and harder to hide, it is the spot I really wanted it, and I'd always regret getting it in a lame spot like on my foot or my back instead of where I had envisioned it.
Although I felt bad, what should have been a 5 minute tattoo took about half an hour because I kept making her re-size it, make it smaller, simpler, cleaner and "Daintier". What I ended up with is about half the size that it originally was, and also just a simple outline rather than a fully solid "stamp" type tattoo.
So in conclusion I love it, I think it's adorable, and I have this thing about tattoos becoming sort of like scars. I would never get any of my scars removed or covered up, because they remind me of a certain time and place in my past, and they mark me. Everyone goes through life and acquires more scars, and I think the same is true for tattoos. Even if I look ridiculous when I'm 50 and have an anchor on my wrist, I'll remember when I got it, and how much I loved it and how amazing it looked.
And frankly, our generation is so damn tatted up that we'll all be playing "guess what this tattoo used to be" in the old age homes.

Beautiful Poetry.

Lavendar leather vest ($13 Winners --> Junior's dept. is where it's at!), grey tank top (Costa Blanca $5 Value Village), brown pinstripe bermuda's ($6 Value Village).
Black and cork wedges (Payless) Allan Ginsberg's poem "Howl" the most beautiful poem everrrrrrrr. So lovely it makes me have to crouch down so I don't fall over with the sheer force of fucking amazing literature.

Book Porn

Esprit linen shift dress ($7 VV), bangles & Seiko watch, orange bracelet. Black cork wedges (Payless).

BOOOOks. Went to Chapters, blew my load all over a stack of Palahniuk books, so I got "Invisible Monsters" Chuck Palahniuk, Ginsberg's "Howl" and a music/fashion magazine called Nylon.

Heart of Chambers

Something like a simpler mix of all 3 of these. Not sure if I want a rope on it yet though.

Art is an Attempt to Live Beautifully

Might be getting a new tattoo tomorrow! Have been wanting an anchor for a really long time but haven't gotten up the guts to get it on my wrist, I think that a year is pretty good proof that I won't change my mind :)

Check out this picture of Kate Moss with an anchor tattoo, I want mine a bit bigger, not upside down, and a little higher up, but essentially very similar.

Uhm, also I'd like to point out that Kate Moss is one of the most beautiful women in the world, and I fucking lover her, even in spite of her filthy little blow habit :)

Half a Mohawk.

I found a chain. And a pair of scissors. And a spoon with the Loch Ness monster on it.

New Haircut

Haha remember that guido youtube video "my new hair cut". It was terrible and ridiculous yet still somewhat entertaining. Well last night I sat in a cardboard box (the "Britterbox" ... thanks Dara) and Gabby chopped off my hair while I crouched, half naked, palms sweaty with terror and anticipation.
It came out so well I bloody love it and she's my new hairdresser. The best part is I get to sleep with her after :) Oh yeahhh.
Anyways here's my new haircut, my new bikini top ($15 Old Navy).
And my new manicure, inspired by people who smoke in New York City taxi cabs.
